When you set up a Project you can enter the Site Conditions, namely:
- Wind Zone (Low, Medium, High, Extra High, SED)
- Earthquake Zone (1, 2, 3, 4)
- Exposure Zone (B, C, D)
- Snow Loading Zone (N0, N1, N2, N3, N4, N5)
The site conditions have a relationship to many of the generic and branded clause options within Smartspec - e.g., if you selected Exposure Zone D, then Smartspec may only present Stainless Steel fixings as opposed to Galvanised fixings within a specification. Conversely, if you were to select Exposure Zone B, then both Stainless Steel and Galvanised fixings may be available.
If you change the Site Conditions in an existing or duplicated project you may be automatically prompted to re-make selections within clause options that are linked to Site Conditions.
The Project Status will appear on the cover page of your exported project plus you can elect to include the status in the header or footer of each page (Settings > Document Header and Footer).
