What are Related Parties?

Related Parties are key project stakeholders that, after adding them to your project, will then appear in the introduction to your Project Specification for the benefit of the reader.

Generally you'll add:

• Company name
• First & last name
• Party type (e.g., Contractor, Roofer, Principal, Structural Engineer, etc)
• License number (e.g., Licensed Building Practitioner, NZIA, ADNZ, IPENZ, etc)
• Email
• Address
• Phone

You can easily select related parties and change the order in which the Related Parties are displayed in the exported Project Specification.

Additionally, Smartspec stores the details of your Related Parties in your account so, if required, you can easily re-use the same parties in multiple projects.
