Can I upload my own specs?

Yes, you can easily add specs to Smartspec, then re-use them across multiple projects.

This functionality is really useful if you want to specify a product or system that is not yet included in Smartspec.

Click Templates > Specification Templates, then copy/paste or write the clauses (find out more about specification templates here).

This external spec will appear just like the other specs and clauses in the exported PDF specification. All the clause numbering will be handled automatically too.

Note: We would recommend also letting us know which products you want to specify if they are not already included in Smartspec – we will then contact the manufacturer with the view to adding their specs into Smartspec for your convenience.
